Viva Beads® are uniquely made by using an artisan technique called caning. Similar to the layering techniques of Ventian Glass, this 100% handmade process starts by layering different colors and patterns of polymer clay, coming together to replicate Viva Beads® designs into a large "cane". Canes are then slowly rolled down, sliced and molded before heading into ovens for baking. Once the beads have cooled, they are strung into exclusive Viva Beads® jewelry creations. Each Viva Bead is truly a work of art to treasure!

The owner and visionary force behind the Viva Beads® brand is Lori Mottlowitz-an enterprising mother of four girls who began making Viva Beads® at her kitchen table in hopes of making a better life for herself and her family. A story of life, possibilities, and potential is strung together throughout the history of Viva Beads®.
